Welcome to your new favorite home-away-from-home here at The Hideout on Outlaw! This custom, luxury cabin is nestled in the pine trees of the highly popular Powder House Pass area. Enjoy being surrounded by nature. Let the breeze through the pines, help you relax, an occasional owl and coyotes at night remind you of the wild outside; see the jackrabbits frolic during the day, and enjoy a daily deer sighting! Breath the crisp, clean, pine air and unwind, refresh your soul at our Hideout!

Located in the center of the recreational corridor of the stunning Northern Black Hills, you'll have so many adventures right out your door. The Mickelson trail and ATV and snowmobile trails are within minutes from the cabin and easily accessible. Looking for some sightseeing? Spearfish Canyon with it's rim-rock canyon walls mountain streams and waterfalls, great rock climbing, hiking, and trout fishing are just a short 5-10 minutes away from the cabin. Deadwood is only 10 - 15 minutes away and there's taxi service to the cabin, Skiing at Terry Peak is within 10 minutes, and some of the main attractions of the Black Hills like Sylvan Lake, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and more are all within an hour's drive. You can hike/bike/snowmobile or ride your ATV right out your door. Whether you're in the area to enjoy some rest and relaxation from the hustle and bustle, or an adventure filled getaway, The Hideout on Outlaw is sure to be the perfect destination for your vacation.

Coming back home to your very own custom oasis will surely make your vacation the best one yet. With 3720 sq. ft. of room to spread out, you and your guests will love all the space. There's 1000 sq. ft of outdoor living space, including a large covered deck and outdoor fireplace and sectional. There's also a dining table and chairs great for entertaining all your guests. The lower level walkout outdoor area is complete with a covered patio and 7 person salt water hot tub! Inside you'll find an inviting open living space perfect for entertaining your guests. There's Netflix and Hulu access along with Satellite TV to keep you connected. There's a gas fireplace in the living area and a solarium style dining area, as well as custom furniture throughout. Large sliding doors open the inside to the outdoor living area. making it a perfect indoor/outdoor living space for your whole group. Laundry detergent will be fragrance free, no dryer sheets used. Dryer balls, and detergent will be provided for guest use. There's also 2 pack and plays and a high chair at the cabin as well! Make your next vacation to the Black Hills a memorable one! This was our 2nd annual stay at the Hideout. Our family of 13 have stayed here twice now and we love it! Easy access to Recreatinal Springs for our side by side rentals and close to trails. It’s not too close to neighbors so you have some privacy which we loved. It’s also a short drive to Deadwood and Lead. We will book again for sure.

This house was so perfect for our group to get together and watch the Huskers beat Rutgers! Large space in the basement to accommodate 12 adults, not crowded at all.
Loved everything about this house. Very spacious. All bedrooms were big and had attached bathrooms. Very private, quiet spaces. Love this place and will definitely rent again!

Our group LOVES the Hideout on Outlaw! We have stayed there three times now, and this time it felt like we were "walking into our own home". So welcoming, great floor plan and always so clean. We go with four couples and we love that we all get our own huge room, and a gorgeous bathroom. And it is so close to all the fun that deadwood has to offer. We already have it booked for next year :)

We were a group of 5 couples and have been renting houses for 12 years now and this was by far the nicest rental we have stayed at. It is so hard to find 5 bedrooms, let alone 5 king size beds. And it is almost impossible to find 5 bedrooms, each with their own private bath. The house is just gorgeous and couldn't be layed out better. The kitchen island is huge. There was seating everywhere. We ate at the inside table and outside table. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck by the fire at night. September really is such a perfect time to vacation as the weather was perfect. If you are looking for a really nice place to eat, I would recommend the Latchstring Restaurant, up Spearfish Canyon about 11 miles up the road. Awesome view on the patio! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and would love to stay here again.

This was our second time staying at the Hideout on Outlaw. Great place to stay with an awesome covered deck and some privacy to the rear of the residence. The property was clean, well maintained and works great for 5 couples. The gas grill has been updated since our last stay, which was a nice upgrade if you plan on using a grill. If you are planning on brining trailers or multiple vehicles the parking can get a little tight as it has a private driveway that winds up to the home. The rear covered deck is a great place to hang out and relax in the evenings and has an outdoor fireplace. With five couples refrigerated food storage could use a little improvement as there is only one fridge, whereas other properties we have stayed at have had secondary fridges or coolers in the house or in the garage. All in all, it’s a good place to stay and we may consider it again in the future.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at this property and for good reason! Together with our kids and grandkids we are a family of 14 and this is the perfect place for us all to be together. The set up can't be beat, with each couple having a king suite with private bathroom and the kids all able to stay in their own room together! The boys loved the game room (including the BIG boys!) and the teens and young adults loved the hot tub. And don't even get me started on the back covered deck with the gas fireplace. Such a cozy area with plenty of room for all of us to gather in the chilly evenings. The kitchen is very well appointed and provided all we needed to make our meals. We will definitely stay here many more times in the future. My grandkids wouldn't have it any other way!

This home was a treat to rent. Each bedroom had comfy beds and your own on-suite. We enjoyed the outside deck with large sectional, table and chairs, outdoor fireplace and heater. Plenty of room to spread out in this house in great room, downstairs family room and game room. Tankless water heater was a plus for this large house with many people. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect home for a family birthday celebration. The setting was gorgeous as was the house. The outdoor covered patio was a family favorite with many evenings spent there. The many bedrooms (Comfortable king beds) and adjoining baths worked out well and the amenities were exactly as described. It’s a short walk to the club house where the two pools are located and it’s anice neighborhood for enjoyable walks.Highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hideout. It had plenty of room for 13 of us. The house carried all we needed and we felt right at home. The Kid's enjoyed the game room. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the trails. We liked the close nice to get on and off the trails. The fireplace on the back deck helped on cool even rainy evenings to sit and visit. We would stay in this home again i the future.

Everything was as listed for this property, and it was lovely. Very clean, very nicely furnished, view of the pines, great game room for the kids, lots of places to sit and gather. The fireplace on the porch with the sectional was by far our favorite spot the entire week.

En-suite bath in each bedroom greatly appreciated and plenty of towels. Even had a basket full of towels for the hot tub. Two bedrooms on the main level and three downstairs. Bunk room is downstairs. Everyone enjoyed game room downstairs and the hot tub. The fireplace on deck was nice on cool mornings and evenings. Beds were great except in master. It could be better if it had a solid surface under mattress on top of metal frame. Was a great home and we all were very comfortable there. Even had some games and few toys. Highly recommend this beautiful home and hosts were great to work with. Kitchen better stocked than any other VRBO that we’ve ever stayed in. Planned a day trip each day for seeing the sights. There is a nice heated pool and clubhouse right by the entrance. There is a great park in Spearfish for children. Went to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil’s Tower, Badlands, Custer State Park and hiking in Spearfish Canyon which was fairly close. Quite a drive to everything else but well worth it. Beautiful area.

This house exceeded our expectations. All the finishes and design elements are stunning. We had 8 adults and 3 kids on our Friendcation. We loved that each family had their own bathroom. We made breakfast at home every morning and hung out every night on the covered deck by the fireplace. The location was perfect to drive to Devil’s Tower, Mount Rushmore, Custer, Crazy Horse, etc for quick day excursions. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners thoughtfully provided detergent pods so we could do some laundry throughout the week. Towels were provided for use of the hot tub also. Just a perfect vacation rental that will set the bar for all others!

Hideout is a favorite for us! It is absolutely beautiful and overs so much personal space for our groups of families/friends. It has so much style and beautiful features. It feels warm and cozy and that is exactly what we want when we come to the Black Hills! The hill in the backyard is perfect for the kids to go sledding. The community pool is fun to do year round. The hot tub location is a perfect, serene spot. And the deck fireplace is awesome too! We just love it here and will be back again!

We stayed here for a weekend with our children and grandchildren (13 of us total!)and it was the absolute best time for all of us. It was the perfect set up, with all of the adults having their own bedrooms complete with King beds and beautiful private bathrooms. The kids loved having their own room, too, and don't even get me started on the game room! What a perfect way to keep 5 busy boys entertained! And even the big "boys" had fun with it ;). We were able to relax on the gorgeous covered deck each evening with the fireplace and heater to keep us all very comfortable, even though it was only in the 30's in the evenings and early mornings. Very private and serene surroundings that allowed all of us to just decompress and enjoy each other's company. Budi was very accommodating when we ran out of propane. He had replacements for us in a matter of a couple of hours! I cannot say enough good things about this property. We hope to make this an annual event for our family in the future. You know it's a win when everyone is saying "I wish we had one more day" as we were leaving Sunday morning. Thank you for such a memorable time for our family.

Great cabin with a beautiful view! We have stayed in many different cabins throughout the Black Hills and this one is my favorite! Love the decor and the layout is perfect for large or small groups with all of the bedroom suites. The management company was great to work, due to the weather we had to extend our stay last minute and they made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends, and I hope to stay again soon! :)

We really loved this home, so many relaxing features including the outdoor deck fireplace and hot tub. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is large and well equipped. It is so clean and well taken care of.... excellent rental!

The house was absolutely beautiful. Winderful open kitchen dining room. Loved the bedrooms all being ensuites. The fire place and sitting area was super nice and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We brought our kids and grandkids to the hills to enjoy side by side trail riding and sight seeing. The house and experience was excellent. Great place to stay with all we needed for the trip. Kids loved the community pool as well.

The Hideout on Outlaw was amazing! Perfect location for privacy and plenty of parking for 4 couples vehicles and then some! The house overall was great but the outdoor fireplace and living area were fantastic!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. 4 couples, each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The amenities and décor in the cabin created the perfect atmosphere for a fun get together with friends. Perfect year round cabin rental.

The homeowners and builders did everything right in creating this gorgeous retreat. We were extremely comfortable during our stayed and enjoyed the luxurious environment - especially the great kitchen, the fireplaces and cozy bedding, and the hot tub. We cannot wait to come back in warmer months to enjoy views/meals/relaxing from the amazing deck.

Our family has rented several cabins in the Hills, the hideout is without a doubt our favorite cabin thus far!

This cabin absolutely exceeded our expectations. Everything from the beautiful king suites to the amenities. This cabin was full of everything you would need at home. The kitchen was well equipped with dazzling silverware, dishes,& pots & pans. The wine bar in the dinning area was a perfect touch to the cabin.

The furnishings at the hideout were cozy and comfortable. The artwork was truly fitting for this one of a kind cabin.

And we can't forget the outdoor fireplace. We were able to sit outside in the middle of winter enjoying the beautiful views!

We loved the salt water hot tube and the arcade in the downstairs. The kiddos played Pac-Man while the adults enjoyed it just as much playing the golf game.

This is such a beautiful vacation home! Perfect for our large group, which included seven kids! They kept busy in the arcade and hot tub, and even enjoyed some sledding and exploring. We fell in love the moment we walked in ♥️ So cozy and beautifully decorated!
Wonderful amenities, didn’t have to worry about a crockpot, or towels for the hot tub. We felt right at home! Will definitely be back!

Our family’s stay (6 adults and 6 kids) at the hideout on Outlaw was amazing. Beautiful house!! Never have I rented a house before that has been so fully stocked with everything needed to enjoy the time there. The kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the open kitchen to visit and hot tub to relax in! 10/10!!

The house was very comfortable! We enjoyed having the two interior levels and outside areas for activities. We also appreciated that each of the five bedrooms had a king size bed and a private bathroom. We would definitely try to book this property for a return visit to the area in the future.

We could not have been more pleased with everything at the Hideout on Outlaw. Great hot tub, kids loved the clubhouse pool and games, just a wonderful view from the deck, dining room table, bedroom, even the bathroom. We for sure will be back. We created wonderful family memories. The best of everything is included in this wonderful place. Thanks so much.

This rental house was wonderful. It was large, fairly new, and very clean. It so had amenities galore. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces inside and on the deck, the hot tub, and the luxurious bedrooms with king sized beds, electric fireplaces, and great private baths. This was a wonderful place to spend a girls weekend and we would definitely stay there again.

We have rented a number of cabins in this area over the years but this is probably the best one we have ever stayed at. 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom was really nice! We also really enjoyed the fireplace on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again!!
