It's a nice cabin in a good location with no funky rules. Some rentals are pain. This one couldn't have been easier. The backyard deer were a nice bonus.

The home was beautiful and exactly as advertised. The location was perfect for us with its proximity to Lead, Deadwood and Terry Peak. Very clean and comfortable.

Eight of us stayed at the Cougar Cabin and had a fantastic time. It was easy to find, the cabin was in great shape, very clean, plenty of space for all of us. We would definitely stay here again!

The Cabin provided everything we hoped for. It was a pleasant stay and if we ever return to the area we will likely stay there again.

The only bad thing was not always having hot water during our showers. However this was mention in the guest book and understood the reasoning.

We stayed a the cabin for a week. The cabin was nice and location was great. The cabin was supplied with everything you need but I would recommend suppling additional wash clothes. There was only a couple wash clothes. The shower upstairs and the jets in the bath tub downstairs did not appear to be the cleanest so we cleaned them before we used them. There was dust bunnies in the corner on the floor in the upstairs bedroom but overall a great place.

The cabin was a great vacation for our family. immediately felt at home and was able to relax after a long drive. Having a heated garage to take off all our gear and hang up comfortably before heading inside was a major plus for us.

The home was everything I was expecting and more. We had a perfect vacation. The quiet, the wilderness, and almost perfect privacy.

It was a great cabin, in a great location. Only thing that needed to be done was clothes dryer vent needed to be cleaned outside. Clothes dryer didn't dry till it was cleaned.

A great location to get away and see the Northern area of the Black Hills. The kitchen faucet needs some work to get hot water, but besides that everything was wonderful. A nice cabin to hang out and relax after a day of 4-wheelin'.

Very wonderful experience. Booking was very smooth. We decided to add a day to our trip and they were very accommodating to us with ghat. The cabin was beautiful. Had everything we needed to spend our vacation there.

This was a fantastic property. Great amenities, wonderful location and VERY clean. We enjoyed everything about our stay and our 3 kids (14), (11), & (10) felt the same. We would highly recommend this to anyone considering a vacation rental in the Black Hills. Thanks for a GREAT stay.

Good home base to the many area attractions. Hot tub nice to use at the end of the day.

Only item to point out is the hot water heater seemed to not supply much hot water. We had cool showers.

This place was beautiful and in a grest location for everything we wanted to see and do. We come to the Hills every year. If we don't stay at the Spearfish Canyon Lodge, we try and find a VRBO. We would stay here again.

Budi was easy to work with if we had questions or issues. Only issues were small. Quite neighborhood with lots of space between homes. Turkeys and deer were seen right outside the cabin. Beds were comfortable, fireplace and firepit were so nice to have. Same with the grille on the deck. Highly recommend this rental property. WiFi is a little slow but for us it was no issue. Only used internet to look up restaurants and other local info. Hope to return back to the northern hills and the Cougar Cabin.

We were looking for a change of scenery during the pandemic, and this place was perfect. Quiet and peaceful! Although there are other houses nearby, we had plenty of privacy and quiet. The house was beautiful, very clean, had everything we needed, and was conveniently located. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

This is probably the 9th or 10th cabin we have stayed at in the deadwood/lead area and I can honestly say this was one of the most welcoming, well-stocked, homey, cleanest cabins we have ever been in. We loved everything about it - it was honestly everything we needed! Thank you very much - we would love to be back someday and were really sad to have to leave!

The Cougar Camp was gorgeous! It is a beautiful cabin tucked into the trees. The view from the open windows was the perfect sight to wake up to each morning. We came to Lead to snowmobile and the location of Cougar Camp was spot on. We rode the sleds across the highway to Recreational Springs and into the trails. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back!!

The Tv in the living room is a little small for avid football fans but it still worked great. Cabin is located great. We highly recommend this cabin. Also if you want a great steak go to Spearfish and eat at Steerfish and smoke.

Rode utvs 555 miles in 6 days of riding combination roads and trails.Took a learning curve riding at legal traffic speeds. We used map apps on our phones much better than mvum maps.
