It was a last minute getaway for my wife and I and we really enjoyed the scenery and a fully equipped and clean cabin. It exceeded our expectations! We certainly would recommend it!

Fantastic little cabin for couples! Cozy, Clean, Peaceful, and Easy to find. We had a GREAT stay! Wonderful food just down the road at Cheyenne Crossing! The Black Hills never disappoints!

Very well maintained and clean property! Property is in a great location and is in a very quiet area. Close to two main roads for the areas we wanted to travel too. Will definitely stay there again!

Enjoyed my stay at Couples Canyon. The views were awesome. Had some rain and the fog on the canyon walls was something I don't see very often. The lack of AC was not a problem as it cools off at night so sleeping was great. It was nice and quiet even with the highway only a short distance away. It was perfect for the two of us.

Amazing! Perfect location to Spearfish Canyon, Lead, Deadwood and recreational activities. Property management was great to work with and was always an email or text away if we ever needed anything, which we did not. Couples Canyon Retreat cabin was larger than we anticipated.

We were attending a family reunion in lead S.D. We chose rhe Couples Canyon. From the first morning we were watching the deer behind the cabin while we had our coffee we knew we chose right. The cabin was super clean and bright. We will definitely try to book it agin.

A perfect choice for a northern hills- easy access to Mickelson Trail, Spearfish Canyon hiking, and public access points for fly-fishing. The very private lodging included all the necessities - including a private deck.

We had an awesome stay. Our trip did not go as planned due to some vehicle issues but Couples Canyon did not disappoint. A quite location with nice views and deer hanging out in the backyard. Cheyenne Crossing across the road was also a blessing of great food and people. We will stay again for sure.

Great quiet cabin and area. Close to a lot of things to see and do. Great deck to admire the mountains ,trees and nearby stream. Saw some deer across road. Super place just to relax and enjoy the outdoors

We rented for three nights but had to leave early due to inclement weather. The cabin was nice while we were there.

Still wanting to get away during the COVID 19 pandemic, we decided to rent a cabin in the Hills. The location was perfect. We were able to leave for the day and return each evening in time for dinner and to relax. It helped us keep our distance from others.

We also went an rented a side by side one day and fishing boat on Pactola Resivor the next. We were expecting there to be a firepit to realax in the evening an do some star gazing. Even a propane fire box would of been nice. Also a pot for cooking would of also been helpful. I recommend this place for couple looking for a nice getaway. The scenery is amazing!

Needed a respite in the middle of a 2,600 mile cross country journey and found this one bedroom gem. The perfect tonic for some R & R before hitting the road again. Could hear the river/stream day and night with the windows open and the cool night air blowing in. Dark as night at night except for the millions of stars. Loved it!

Very good experience. Bud was very helpful. cabin is well equipped, clean and functional. Only quirky thing was two key key locks, one of which was operating, and even that one was not straight forward.
