This was the perfect place for our homebase while we were visiting the Black Hills! The setting was beautiful and the rental home was exactly what we needed. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and nice amenities at the clubhouse.

Very nice place but mattresses on beds are mediocre. Bedding is comfortable. The bunk beds are not very sturdy. Ok for kids but not great for adults. No instruction on how to work the TVs. We could not figure it out. We could have contacted manager and sure it would have been resolved but due to unforseen event we were only there to sleep. Just would be nice to have clear instructions to make it easy. The place is very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great (Did get to use it first night). Had everything we needed in kitchen, except coffee (we forgot to bring). Would be a nice perk to have just a couple coffee packs there. No batteries in remote in main floor bedroom. Overall, the place is nice, with nice hot tub, great wooded view, close to Deadwood and Terry Peak, but I like to have a high quality bed whe. I pay this much so will try another place next time.

Comfortable, queit and cozy for a girl's weekend. Very clean, towels and toiletries were well stocked. Hot tub was clean and ready to go the moment we arrived. Location was excellent and a short walk to Bore's nest. Very responsive to a maintenance issue we had and was resolved while we ran errands.

We stayed at the Gold Camp Lodge the beginning of April 2022 and it was absolutely AMAZING! The lodge was fresh and clean. Perfect size for the 6 adults on our trip. It was very easy to reserve and communication was timely. We are planning a future trip with Black Hills Adventure Lodging. I highly recommend!!!

Gold Camp was the perfect cabin for a quick family retreat in the Hills. Cozy, clean and conveniently located to Terry Peak and local restaurants and breweries.

The overall experience with Black Hills Adventure Lodging was great! This was the second time we have used Black Hills Adventure Lodging. The Gold Camp Lodge worked great for us! We were vacationing with extended family, with three couples and a kid. The clubhouse also has a nice swimming pool to relax on a hot afternoon.

The Cabin was located in a good location to reach other tourist locations.
The cabin overall was nice. The cabin was well laid out. The cabin still had Christmas decor up in May, which was a little different. The TVs were outdated which i know your not there to watch TV but the a SMART TV would go a long way in the early mornings with younger children or in the evenings to watch sports. The DVD player did not work. The clubhouse didnt open until 9am which was disappointing if you wanted to get an early morning workout in before you explored for the day. Overall we had a decent experience and served our needs adequately.

This was a great cabin to stay in. The down stair main tv did not work the cable said it had weak signal which was inconvenient, that is the only complaint. We had some snow come while we were their and the hill on the drive was well taken care of.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gold Camp Lodge so much! Everything was ready for our arrival. The lodge was very clean and so beautifully decorated. We loved grilling a meal with drinks on the two spacious patios. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, which was also very clean. The location was easy to find and a quick drive to Lead and Deadwood. The management responded quickly to our questions. I'd highly recommend a stay at this beautiful cabin!

Cabin was very beautiful but the dish washer didn’t work and half the outlets didn’t work. The fridge was unplugged and we had to move it for it to work. Also, the “free ride” sticker on the fridge was not a thing. We called the number and they said they don’t do free rides and that we should call a taxi. But the cabin was super cool and decorated very nicely! I think the outlets might have gone out and they didn’t know it.

WOW! This lovely cabin was perfect for our getaway. WE are four "seniors" so the stairs were a challenge, but the cabin was perfect in every way -- immaculately clean, well-equipped, good location and accessible to the highway, etc.

The rental house was perfect for our needs. It was clean and spacious. The hot tub was great to help unwind for long days in the go and the community pool was great for the kids. We had some issues getting connected to the internet, not everyone could connect. We also had issues getting more than 10 channels in the tv and the DVD player was not connected. Those are secondary to the house itself, the views of the Black Hills and the location in general. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We loved this Gilded Mountain cabin! The cabin itself was very nice! We were able to park a truck/trailer with toys easily which isn't the case at all the Gilded properties. The view from the decks was amazing! We enjoyed beginning and ending each day with coffee on one deck and hot tubbing on the other. My only suggestion is to get a new toaster. :)

Great overall. Couple things to consider... leave a couple flashlights in case of power outage. hangers would help. Also, usable dressers. Could not figure out the fireplace when power went out. Overall though, it is a fabulous place.

I discovered this cabin while searching the internet one night in planning our family vacation. We were all pleased with the cabin and communication with the management company. Our stay was very pleasant as we all felt right at home here and I was very pleased with the way the check out went and the return of my deposit. The only thing we didn't like was the conditions of the kitchen knifes, very dull. Other than that great job guys.

Two families came together in a beautifully constructed cabin in the woods. The pictures didn't do it justice. However, it was disappointing to see so much construction. I like to leave that behind when I leave the city but I guess it follows me wherever I go. The club house was gorgeous but the pool was not very clean looking. I"m sure its cuz of the pollen which kept me in the cabin it was so bad. Not anyone's fault. But one large complaint of ours was the departure rules. I don't agree that we should strip our beds and to empty dishwasher. I didn't leave a tip bc not only did we pay enough but we also had to do more work than I deemed appropriate. We arrived with laundry in the dryer that we had to fold! And another thing; I would have really appreciated green products for cleaning. Honest Co; Meyer; seventh generation; whatever but not Dawn and cheap laundry detergent. I'm surprised that in newly constructed accommadations there are chemically laden cleaning supplies!

It was a bit cool to use the main pool at the property more than once - but that is a great draw for young kids. We will stay again.

We stayed a the Gold Camp Lodge over a school holiday weekend in October. The property was well laid out giving people a lot of space to separate - which is nice with kids. The property manager was on top of everything - and when we needed something, she was quick to respond. The stay at the lodge was good, but there was a few small issues, such as fireplace remote wouldn’t work, couldn’t get all the tv’s to work, and there again it might have been the remotes. Nice and clean. It accommodated very well.

What a perfect spot to gather. We were close to all our favorite places; Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, Hill City, and Custer State Park. Our cabin was fantastic! We shared meals there, played board games, and had plenty of room inside and out to visit.

Great time... beautiful cabin and lots of room. Clubhouse was awesome and just up from the cabin so was not a far walk. My only complaint was the pots and pans are limited so if cooking a meal that requires more than one pan I would suggest to bring some with you.

Our family fell in love with Guilded Mountain and all it has to offer. Location is great as we snowmobiled right out the door to the trail. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Would stay again at this location. Close to needs in Lead and entertainment in Deadwood. Yet, very private and unique.

Two families came together in a beautifully constructed cabin in the woods. The pictures didn't do it justice. However, it was disappointing to see so much construction. I like to leave that behind when I leave the city but I guess it follows me wherever I go. The club house was gorgeous but the pool was not very clean looking. I"m sure its cuz of the pollen which kept me in the cabin it was so bad. Not anyone's fault. But one large complaint of ours was the departure rules. I don't agree that we should strip our beds and to empty dishwasher. I didn't leave a tip bc not only did we pay enough but we also had to do more work than I deemed appropriate. We arrived with laundry in the dryer that we had to fold! And another thing; I would have really appreciated green products for cleaning. Honest Co; Meyer; seventh generation; whatever but not Dawn and cheap laundry detergent. I'm surprised that in newly constructed accommadations there are chemically laden cleaning supplies!
