We enjoyed our stay so much! Great area with little kids. Our only complaint would be the king size bed was very uncomfortable and definitely could use an upgrade. No other complaints. Great stay!

My wife and I, and her sister and husband from Texas came for Kool Deadwood Nights classic car week. This is great place to stay, We all liked having coffee in the morning on the porch, so relaxing, we decided we are not going back to a motel the next time we come. The house was very very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the Iron Wheel Lodge. The house was clean and well appointed. Travel distance was a short and easy drive. The clubhouse was a nice place to hang out and play some games. Then finish off the day with a little time in the hot tub! Very relaxing and fun!! Everything was as advertised.

Great experience! Open floor plan with great layout for family to all be in an area to visit, play games or watch TV. Nice to have a main site on the first floor for our parents to use without having to climb stairs. Also liked having another suite upstairs. The child’s playroom upstairs also served as a private “bedroom” for 2 of our guests.

The house was nice but the location is horrible. There is no privacy and our neighbors were up partying very loudly all hours of the night the entire time we were there.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. The cabin was clean and very well taken care of. We will definitely be booking a stay at this same cabin again!!

The location was beautiful. I would have preferred that the hot tub was private, and not in full view of the other homes, so it was not used as much as I hoped for. Overall a pleasant experience.

This cabin provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was clean and we appreciated having a garage. Location was convenient and quiet until the weekend arrived and then it was quite busy as would be expected especially on a holiday weekend.

This home is beautiful. Very well laid out for 3 couples to each have their own bedroom and bathroom. Location was great.
Now the but and I hate this part.... *the house is very dark. We had to use our phones at night to see into the closets.
*The home is now surrounded by other homes including directly out the back patio door with less than 50 feet between patio and the side of the other house. If you are looking for privacy, you won't get it here. Also the outside table only seats 4 but there are chairs for more people.
*The Wifi name and password given out is not correct but there is a note in the book that people write in regarding their stay with the correct info, so look there. There are notes in the book that they had contacted the property management regarding this issue with no results.
*I had the main bedroom, the bed was awful. Sleep indentations are quite evident. The sheets are so thin and very, very pilled.
*The other beds had some indentations as well but not as bad.
*The liquid soap was even watered down.

I did not contact the property management during my stay. I didn't feel they could solve the issues on the spot other than the sheets and soap.
I have notified them of these complaints and I have photos to support all that I have said and offered them to the management company as well. Hopefully this will all be addressed and if addressed we would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was comfortable and conveniently located. I particularly enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room and we found the beds to be very comfortable and there was plenty of room too play board games between our visits to the parks!

Our family vacation was fantastic and we had a great rental to stay in. It had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a hot tub, and trees surrounding. It was very family friendly, easy to find, and easy access to surrounding towns and activities. We would highly recommend this area for a family stay.

Our family loved the location of this clean and well maintained property. The hot tub made for a perfect ending to a day at Terry Peak. Our kids also enjoyed some game time at the clubhouse! Very clean and beautiful cabin. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!

My wife and I decided we wanted to have a quiet getaway. We are very familiar with the black hills and chose Iron Wheel because we were familiar with the home and area.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for getting to Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. The hot tub and community building were great features. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall great experience. New property, clean and well maintained. Contained everything we needed. Powder House is a very nice new development. Easy to access and close to Lead/Deadwood SD. We will definitely have a return visit. Management company was friendly and very responsive.

The house is very nice and comfortable for our small group. The kitchen was adequately supplied. The development is growing so there was construction across the street. We prefer a quieter, more secluded rental.

Was very satisfied with the house and amenities. Location was also very close to Lead so could get anything you forgot. Only thing we were not satisfied with was the water pressure and hot water. It took 5 minites to get luke warm water to kitchen.

This is a great location just south of Lead. Quick access to trails right from the house. Very short drive to Spearfish Canyon at Savoy for hiking and waterfalls. There were three adult couples each with there own room and bathroom. Beautiful, quality home. Looking forward to returning soon!

Simply beautiful and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous lodge and its private hot tub! Totally clean and easy to find near the clubhouse for games with an outdoor heated pool and gas fire-pit. Would highly recommend to friends and relatives.

This is a very nice home in the Powder House Pass division. The new construction and nice finishes make it a very cozy getaway. This home is near the entrance which is convenient for finding it and accessing the community building but it does make for more traffic and road noise than if you were deeper in the neighborhood.

Neither ensuite has a bath tub so I'd say it lacks a true master suite. The outdoor space is limited to the sidewalks and small back patio with an unlandscaped yard. The wifi is very slow, even when just 2 users were connected.
