It was a very enjoyable property. With the property being more chopped up it actually allowed for some privacy with multiple guests. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was beautiful and well stocked. The area was fun and easy to get to and around. A must stay in my book. So easy to book!

Due to work demands our company has stayed in various rentals in the area over the past two years. In comparison to what we have experienced at other rentals we would not stay here again. For our business needs, the biggest drawbacks for us were a broken coffee maker and the WIFI or lack thereof. It never connected so we ended up hot spotting the entire time. Because we are generally working we tend to eat in quite a bit and amenities such as cooking accessories were lacking. Lastly, the general cleanliness of the place was not what we had come to expect. While not terrible, attention to details were missing, shower drains were backing up and it was sub-par to others we had stayed previously. Flies were a big issue. Overall, the house is interesting and easily accessible which was a plus.

The property was as described, close to Deadwood and many activities. Would strongly recommend, great family vacation spot! We really enjoyed the hot tub! Beautiful scenery! Enjoyed some gambling and the local shops. Did sightseeing and a couple side trips.

The main floor tub wasn't draining, main floor bedroom bedding had multiple spots with "human stains", coffee pot still had old coffee in it and was dirty, two rugs on the main floor are trip hazards because the corners are curling up and the hot tub was not functioning and had pine needles floating in it. It really put a damper on our trip, we didn't even stay the third night.

The house is nice and well maintained. The main floor living area is a little small for us all to hang out together, but there are is space for everyone to spread out on different levels. The only complaint was from our kids. The internet is very slow and cell service a little sketchy. While painful for the adults to listen to it was probably a good thing to not be able to play games online for a few days. Just be prepared.

We had a great time staying at the Jug House Lookout. The location was great, space was more than adequate for our party of 12, and the decor was beautiful! We went out the hills to do a ATVing definitely a great place to stay for that. Easy to get on the trails easy access to park your trailer is at Terry Peak also.

We have stayed at a number of different houses/cabins at Terry Peak. This is my favorite!! Rustic look but a very modern cabin fully equipped and very family friendly. Two of our favorite things was the third level game room - shuffleboard and Pac Man/Donkey Kong video games as well as a TV. This was a great place for grandkids to hang out. My favorite part of the house was the fourth floor master suite with a wrap around balcony, lots of windows, and an incredible view. Great to sit outside in the morning as the sun came up and watch the world come alive. There is also a smaller TV/living room area downstairs. Full size hot tub! We had a great stay and I would definitely rent this one again.

Great space to come back to after a day at Terry Peak. Rooms appear bigger in the pictures but it worked. Very well stocked kitchen with lots of kitchen supplies. Game room and downstairs area were great for the kids.

We enjoyed our trip to South Dakota! We seen tons of beautiful country and historTic places. We did not spend much time in the cabin, so we did not get enjoy all the great amenities that came with it! The cabin was beautiful with nice views and very clean, and the beds slept well. Thanks for some great memories! Lisa

Beautiful cabin. The cabin was not clean when we arrived but the housekeeper arrived when we pulled in. We had to leave until she was done. The only other disappointment was the constriction materials laying around still. The cabin was so lovely though. Comfortable and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
