We had a great time in the black hills. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive when I emailed him questions. After our daily drives to the touristy things, the kids appreciated swimming in the pool before bed. We will definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at Lazy Bear Lodge for 3 nights. There were 4 adults and 2 children in our group. We found the lodge to be very comfortable and clean with everything we needed provided. We enjoyed the clubhouse for games and exercising. The location was perfect for us.

Rental was easy to get to. Directions easy to follow and address easily found using Apple Maps. Cabin was clean and well maintained. Communication from property management was professional. Do wish they had provided more information about the community clubhouse that was available for use - such as the hours of the building. Also would have been nice to have personal recommendations in regards to dining experiences.

We had a wonderful stay— the cabin was everything we expected and more. The surrounding area was beautiful also with amazing cabins in the woods. The only disappointment was that the clubhouse no longer had a fitness room/treadmill and the “steam room” did not work. I ended up just bundling up (it was cold when we were there), and walked the area for a workout in the mornings.

This was a great cabin for our family get away! We had 3 adult couples, and our 2 grandchildren and it was perfect sleeping quarters for us all! We will stay again!

We had a great time at the Lazy Bear Lodge! Our hot tub wasn’t working properly and they came over and fixed it so it was able to work for the remainder of our stay! The heated pool is heated to about 97 degrees he told us, and it was about -10 when we went up there. It was so nice. The only thing I would change is to add more activities to the main cabin. We will be going back to stay again!

A pipe busted in the cabin we were to stay in and this company call us and got us another cabin. I was very pleased with the cabin we were changed to. I will rent from them again! it was very nice!

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Bear. The location was amazing, the pool and hot tub were great. The only down fall was the dryer not being functional. After being away from home for a week we were looking forward to washing and rewearing clothes! We would definitely stay at Lazy Bear again!

This cabin was the perfect place for myself, my momma, and my two girls to stay while we explored the Black Hills. My family and I came down to go skiing. The lazy bear lodge is within minutes of the slopes. I was very impressed with how clean and well kept the property was. It looked just like the photos.

Cabin was very warm and cozy. Well supplied with dishes, pots and pans. Nice open area on main floor for gatherings. Clubhouse pool was not available which was a disappointment for the kids, however, the hot tubs were very nice!

We had no problems whatsoever. We very much enjoyed the clean and neatly decorated house. Hot tub was easy to operate and so lovely to relax in under the stars. The clubhouse is fun. There is a pool. Lounge areas. Pool table, poker table, and video game. We had a great time.

The cabin was very homey. Perfect amount of space for our family and a few friends. The hot tub was a great. Most of all the cabin was CLEAN and comfortable. Some friends that were along are going to rent it this summer. We will definitely rent it again. Management made the process to check in/out so easy.

I wish I could live in this cabin. It was beautiful, plenty of space between other cabins, nice Rec Center to use, close to many things. PERFECT.

This was an amazing property with everything we needed for a great winter escape with a family group of 7. The wonderful location close to ski slopes and snowmobile trails, as well as a few minutes from groceries and restaurants make it top notch. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay. The Cabin was very nice and clean, perfect for acouples snowmobiling/Deadwood night out get away. Kitchen could use better lighting but that's all we found to be an Issue

Cabin was perfect. Location was excellent and the space had everything we needed and more.

Our experience was wonderful. We came in and everything was nice and clean. The only things that I could say is that we didn't have any propane when we went to grill. But when I called Budi, she sent someone over right away with a tank. The other thing would be the knives are not sharp at all. And the towels had a musty smell to them. Other than that it was great. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Bear. The cabin was cozy, but spacious. Had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Our kids loved the access to the club house pool and pool table. There is a grocery store minutes away and it is secluded yet close to several restaurants. Cheyenne crossing was out favorite!- You won't regret your stay.

Lazy Bear is spacious and very well stocked. The views are beautiful - and the location is less than ten minutes from Lead with a full grocery store, so anything you need is very close.

We LOVED Lazy Bear. It was the perfect home for the three couples we brought. Each couple had a room and since there were two bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone. It was nice to have the common space to use the hot tubs and play pool. It was the perfect weekend! The property was in superb condition and was very well kept.

Beautiful and large property. There had been a lot of rain so everything was greener than it looks in the pictures. The house is actually much larger than it looked in the pictures. We had a fantastic time there.

Wow, the Lazy Bear cabin was great, location was perfect for our day trips. Great location with all the amenities just a couple minutes away. The cabin had all your needs for comfort and a great view when enjoying your morning coffee on the deck. We will definetely be returning.

We loved our stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge! The house was lovely, with a great layout, and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was close to a running/walking trail, perfect for the runners in the group. Though there were other houses close by, it was very quiet and private. The manager was easily accessible and quickly answered all questions.

This was a very nice cabin and had most everything you need to enjoy your stay . Very close to Deadwood but that is a 2 hour stop at most . 2 1/2 hours from the Badlands and 1 1/2 hours from Custer State Park with an incredible drive.I must say the pool is horrible and freezing . It is not heated no matter what they say. Also the clientele is high on the white trashy side that frequent the pool. Overall this is a perfect cabin to stay at if you going to explore what South Dakota has to offer.
