This rental was amazing. Description was true to pictures. Scenery was perfect for the start of the fall season. We saw turkeys, deer, coyotes and attended the SD Buffalo Round Up....what a sight it was!

The facility was as advertised we hsd a great time. Only change would be to have more bath towels and recommend white for them and the beed linnen to ensure bleach is used for cleaning. I would recommend this home for your group.

We were there to honor my husband with a military memorial service. My sisters and I and my daughter and her family stayed at the cabin. We Though the reason we came was a somber one, the time spent with family, enjoying the peace and quiet of the beautiful black hills was wonderful.We would definitely like to stay there again. The cabin was stocked with bedding, towels, dishes,silverware, cooking equipment. All one has to bring is their pj's and toothbrush and of course more clothes and the food you want to eat and your all set.

We had a group of 5 ladies for a fund weekend in the hills. It could have fit more than double that!
Deadwood was just a quick cab ride away, but we felt like we were secluded in the forest. So quiet and peaceful inside and out. Comfortable, clean, and modern design with games, cozy fireplace and kitchen. Would definitely come again!

We had 4 couples this cabin was perfect . The only thing was everyone said the queen beds were a little soft. My wife and I had the king bed it was just fine!

It was very enjoyable. Our entire group was pleased with the house and the location. It was in a beautiful setting. We were comfortable hanging out upstairs and downstairs around the bar. We loved that we could get in our side by sides and just leave from the house and get to Lead, Deadwood and the trails. Budi was great to work with. A few weeks before our trip we had a couple more people that wanted to stay with us but the house was full. I contacted Budi and he said they could park their motorhome on the driveway. They brought a generator and everything worked great. This was a great trip and we are already talking about going back next year.

Perfect for family Christmas. Very cozy. Love the open concept, fireplace and two car garage! Management was very accommodating and quick to respond. Only suggestion would be a space heater for basement family room. It’s a little on the cool side but still enjoyed the space. It was nice having a second refrigerator. Would highly recommend this cabin.

We would highly recommend this home for your Black Hills vacation. Our family had a wonderful time hanging out in the basement, playing games, and using the hot tub.
The beds were comfortable.
The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc.
I have already recommended this place to other family members and if we return to SD, we will be sure to stay here again.

First and foremost the house was beautiful and clean. We loved the basement, hottub, and living room area. The main downfall of our stay was the water pressure was terrible. There was very few toiletries throughout the house and didnt bring any of our own. Our experience was positive and would stay again.

Morning Star Lodge was a great place for our family getaway a beautiful home in a perfect location everything that we needed was in the house.

The morning sun shined brightly through the living room windows upstairs, automatic retractible shades would be a nice addition, but the deck and patio were shaded nicely to enjoy some coffee and fresh air outside. Would recommend.

This home was equipped with all of the amenities needed for a great family vacation including a foosball table, shuffleboard table and hot tub. The home was conveniently located only about seven minutes from downtown Deadwood and was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! The cabin has all of the comforts of home along with a beautiful view, spacious main area for gathering, comfortable beds and a 2 car garage. The kitchen had all of the cooking utensils and appliances needed to make our Christmas Dinner and more! The lower level game area with shuffleboard and foosball was great for the kids and the adults! Hot tub was clean and well maintained. You'll want to have 4 wheel drive if visiting in the winter. Management company was also good to work with. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely consider staying there again.

The house is new and is located just north of Center City, which is very convenient to Deadwood and Terry Peak. We went on a family get-a-way and the open floor plan was very nice. It has 5 bedrooms so no one had to share! Overall, it is a very nice house and I would definitely stay there again.
