This is a great place! Hot tub, arcade games and Big screen TV's to help entertain everyone. Nice grill and kitchen so we could make a few of our own meals but close to restaurants as well. I also appreciated that it wasn't located on a steep hill, access was very easy. I will definitely be staying here again.

Our family has been enjoying the Black Hills over the New Year Holiday for several years. We have really enjoyed the PowderHouse Pass area. Homes are beautiful, community building is enjoyable, and great energy all around. The home has a large open main floor, kitchen was well stocked with small and large appliances, our family really appreciated the layout. Best perk is every bedroom has its own bathroom. We only had a few complaints, upon arrival the first thing the kids like to do is enjoy the hot tub, it was very dirty and kids smelt like mold when they got out. I notified the manager, response was prompt and someone came to correct the problem. I sent manager a thank you text for sending someone out and also mentioned maybe it had been awhile since it had been serviced or someone stayed at property since upon arrival 2 of the 5 bedrooms had dead flies on the floor and beds, it was the response that I was offended by, manager said "Nope! I was there twice yesterday and owners had just stayed" I was not complaining about the flies, just noting maybe it had been a bit since a stay, I felt response was rude. I do know that our family found empty cups under beds, mouse poop in dresser drawers and the coffee bar, lots of debris under couches. I asked about space heaters as the basements get very cold, they don't have any which i understand but was given the suggestion of closing upstairs vents, that did help. Our family washed a majority of the towels and swept and vacuumed before we left, hoping this will give the housekeepers more time to check underbeds and in drawers to make guests feel like their stay is well kept. I want to end with this is a Holiday we all enjoy, we will continue to do year after year.

We stayed in the house titled the OLD Fashioned. We had 19 of us and it was a wonderful vacation. We were all impressed with the house. We each had our own space and we loved gathering on the deck and enjoying the evenings. We recommend this property to everyone!

This place are what dreams are made of! We had a wonderful time! Our kids were thrilled with the games in the basement! Hot tub was a nice touch after taking many spills at Terry Peak which isn’t far away. Communication was top notch ! ❤️

This was the perfect space for our family of 21 to be all together for Christmas 2022! The rental was very clean and very well stocked. Everybody had a bed and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their stay.The area itself has so much to do! Our family enjoyed a day of snowmobiling, playing outside and sledding, and a day to Deadwood for the adults. We could have enjoyed skiing also but everybody was to tired and just wanted to enjoy the space we had for everybody. Overall everything was great. My only comment is that it is more suited for about 22 guests as we had the max which meant some had to sleep on couches or air mattresses. It worked out for our group since we did have kids with us.

When we arrived, everyone was excited... AND PLEASANTLY SUPRISED at the inside. We were a family of 24, (11 adults and 13 kids), we LOVED it.. the size was great for us. now if our younger son gets married we will need 6 bedrooms, but for now this one did great with 5 bedrooms and each having their own bathroom!! It was so nice to have a deck to relax outside and the space inside(when it rained) the kids loved the games, that kept them totally occupied. We really like the hot tub privacy. I know the neighbor mentioned he wished theirs was alittle more closed in, because it was close to our back deck over looking them. All in All this was great, wish it was alittle closer to Rapid City because we did alot south of Lead, but still a great place to ALL be together. I'd recommend it to others. Very clean.

Overall the best cabin I’ve stayed at in the hills. I would definitely recommend. One area of concern was the lack of toilet paper. When 22 adults are in one house more than one roll of paper should be in each bathroom. We paid a lot for this house, we shouldn’t of had to go to the store to buy more.

This is a great large family or multi-family rental unit. The bedrooms are large, and each has their own bathroom, which is nice for a little privacy. Most of the bedrooms have a king bed and queen bunks, perfect if there are multiple families staying together. The family room is huge and is a great hang out space.
