We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was spacious and we watched wildlife from the deck every morning and evening. Owner/manager was quick to respond to any questions or issues.

We had a great stay in the Black Hills! The home was wonderful, we were well accommodated. The views are amazing, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet!

Our family experienced an awesome Black Hill Adventure the week after Christmas. We, all 9 of us, gathered for an family adventure. Timber Bark Lodge fit us perfectly! We had an adventure everyday and returned to a warm, comfortable and spacious home. It was like home away from home.
The view were spectacular! We were welcomed with 12+ inches of new snow upon our arrival, but the kids enjoyed every moment of playing and walking thru the woods.

This home was perfect for our family of five. Everyone had their own, comfortable room and bed! We all enjoyed the hot tub and foosball table - those perks were actually our deciding factor to rent this home and it was the right choice!!

I didn’t care for the fact that we were supposed to put the sheets downstairs to wash, but not the blankets. My husband noticed that there was a very dirt black mark on the blanket. We assumed they were all clean.

We were disappointed with the temperature of the property. Had to use space heaters in order to use the upstairs and basement bathrooms dishwasher wasn't reliable. Wont stay again

We had a great escape to the Black Hills with this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed time with family and friends! The cabin was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our 14 people. Had a great stay at Timber Bark. Party of 11. Enough beds for everyone. Plenty of cookware and dishes. Did have leftovers non-perishables to share.

The cabin was PERFECT for our little weekend getaway with my sister, brother & our families! We had plenty of room for everyone - we all enjoyed the hot tub & had some pretty intense foosball tourneys as well! The cabin was easy to get to, and we loved that there was plenty of parking as well! Thanks for the great stay!

The Timber Bark Lodge was in an excellent locations and easy to find. Locations from Terry Peak Ski area is approximately six miles. There were six adults, a ten year old, and two small children in our group. The lodge had highchair and sled for pulling the small children around. The garage was not large enough to accommodate a full size Silverado, but could handle small size vehicles. All the facilities were excellent.

We had a very good time the house was clean which was awesome. It was close to the mountain which made it even more convenient. Overall, great place to stay!

My wife and I had a great week in the Black Hills using Timber Bark as our home base. The cabin is just as advertised, well-appointed and very clean. Management was very responsive with questions. Only downside was that the hot tub required daily maintenance by the guest which has not been typical of our other rental experiences elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was one of the best we've stayed in! Spacious and everything was there that we needed! If I had to pick one downfall it was that there's really no yard for yard games.

This was our first vacation rental, and we will definitely do this again! So nice to have time with family in a homey area, but yet space and privacy for sleeping accommodations. Very clean! We appreciated everything so much.

Cabin was excellent. great views and plenty of room for the family! Location was also excellent and easy to find. Close to Terry peak ski lodge which was a big hit with everyone. The cabin was clean and the rooms were nice and the large deck was great for grilling out and taking in the scenery. Overall very happy with the stay and will look into getting this cabin again in the future.

We were very happy with everything in the cabin, it was clean and the beds were great. Very good location and nice area to access. Just a few minor issues, knob on the drier was broken and the bar stools needed some screws.

It was a great location and the house was in great shape. We had a great time on our family vacation. The location was in a great spot for us to go to deadwood, lead, keystone, hill city and rapid city!

Nice layout in this cabin. We put little kids downstairs, teenagers upstairs and adults on the main floor and that worked quite well. Hot tub was clean (wish it would have been heated up on arrival, couldn't use first night.) Decent assortment of kitchen dishware as we cooked all our meals there.

We loved the hills, the location and even the size and layout of the house. Carpet needs replaced or at least repaired, Hottub needs fixed and the light switches were a maze. Over all though it really worked nice for our family vacation

Awesome home, great location. The rental agent was great to work with...the patio door wouldn't open and we were short on supplies, she came out and fixed the door herself and replenished basic supplies (garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap etc....). The views were good and had the privilege of thunderstorms the last nights stay.

The one thing to mention is that it is located up a hill so don't try to haul a trailer full of snowmobiles up to the house. We had a little trouble getting the trailer up the hill, in fact we only made it half way there and had to unload the sleds and turn the trailer around. There is a huge parking lot for trailers at Rec Springs at the bottom of the hill. I would recommend unloading them there, and leaving the trailer and riding the sleds up to the cabin.

Had a great time. I don't take baths so no need for a monster tub in the master. The shower is 2'x2'. My only complaint.
