Couples Canyon Retreat is the perfect place for you to enjoy your next vacation. It sits on Lush property near the entrance to Spearfish Canyon. A short drive to Deadwood, Lead Country Club, fishing/hiking/biking/ATV trails in the area! Cheyenne Crossing is literally walking distance from the cabin where you can enjoy some great food and have some modern conveniences from home.

You'll enjoy the space on the large lot, and new spacious wrap-around deck and beautifully decorated cabin in the woods. Close to great amenities! There's easy entry into the cabin with only 2 steps and plenty of parking for your vehicles with trailers! Inside, it's a cozy open concept with the kitchen/living/dining area connected and perfect for enjoying the fireplace while cooking your own meals. You'll love this cozy cabin for up to 3 people. There's a new pavilion available for parking under or a covered picnic as well!

Amazing stay at this clean, adorable canyon cabin in the Black Hills of SD. Quiet and serene, you can hear the creek water, you are surrounded by peace and pine trees. Everything you need for an R&R weekend. We came from Virginia for rest and relaxation and got that and more. What a great place to unplug, refocus and recharge. Typically we are mornings watching the waves of the ocean but we’ve traded the ocean waves for pine trees and the Black Hills. This cabin and it’s location is a must do for this area.

A perfect choice for a northern hills- easy access to Mickelson Trail, Spearfish Canyon hiking, and public access points for fly-fishing. The very private lodging included all the necessities - including a private deck.

Second time there - great accommodations!!
All the comforts of home at your hands -
The only downside was Cheyenne Crossing had a kitchen fir the Friday eve we arrived - had to adjust our plans - Hope they get up and going again!! Missed their amazing comfort food!
We will stay there again as long as we are able!!

We were attending a family reunion in lead S.D. We chose rhe Couples Canyon. From the first morning we were watching the deer behind the cabin while we had our coffee we knew we chose right. The cabin was super clean and bright. We will definitely try to book it agin.

Enjoyed my stay at Couples Canyon. The views were awesome. Had some rain and the fog on the canyon walls was something I don't see very often. The lack of AC was not a problem as it cools off at night so sleeping was great. It was nice and quiet even with the highway only a short distance away. It was perfect for the two of us.

Clean, quiet and cozy cabin. Great location for fly fishing in Spearfish Canyon. We also took a cab to deadwood, was kinda spendy though. We also went an rented a side by side one day and fishing boat on Pactola Resivor the next. We were expecting there to be a firepit to realax in the evening an do some star gazing. Even a propane fire box would of been nice. Also a pot for cooking would of also been helpful. I recommend this place for couple looking for a nice getaway. The scenery is amazing!

Still wanting to get away during the COVID 19 pandemic, we decided to rent a cabin in the Hills. The location was perfect. We were able to leave for the day and return each evening in time for dinner and to relax. It helped us keep our distance from others.

We had an awesome stay. Our trip did not go as planned due to some vehicle issues but Couples Canyon did not disappoint. A quite location with nice views and deer hanging out in the backyard. Cheyenne Crossing across the road was also a blessing of great food and people. We will stay again for sure.

This was the perfect getaway for a quiet cabin out in the black hills! It was small but cute and cozy with a nice wood stove fireplace! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good quiet place to stay.
